Formed by local citizens in 1998, the Waccamaw Community Foundation helps individuals from all walks of life establish charitable funds for the long-term benefit of our Communities. Our motivation is single-minded and simple: no one can know what the region’s needs will be in twenty, fifty or a hundred years, but we do know future generations will need charitable resources to respond adequately to the issues of their day.
We offer every individual who cares about the Communities that comprise the Waccamaw Region a simple way to create a lasting remembrance of their lives, values, and commitment to the place they call home…
