This is an annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 to be awarded to a North Myrtle Beach High School or North Myrtle Beach Christian Academy Senior.
Nominations must be received through the North Myrtle Beach High School Guidance Department or through the North Myrtle Beach Christian Academy Guidance Department.
Applicants should contact their Guidance Counselor to apply for this scholarship or with any questions pertaining to the scholarship process. The criteria listed below will be submitted to the Waccamaw Community Foundation by their Guidance Counselor.
Submit school transcript with GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Submit the FAFSA "EFC" Report (Free Application Federal Student Aid).
Essay Submission: "Vision For My Future Education". Submit an essay no more than two (2) pages long, double-spaced and always personally signed by the applicant.
Community Service submitted by teacher in charge of all community service hours for graduating students. Official record of clubs, organizations and individual achievements.
Minimum of 3 applicants per school requested.
Scholarship deadline is April 16th.
