RE:               2010 Grant Opportunity

The Conway Chamber Youth Leadership Class Philanthropy Project was started in 2009 by the Conway Chamber through a grant from the Waccamaw Community Foundation with assistance of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program is designed to provide leadership skills to the youth of today and leaders of tomorrow. The program is offered to sophomore high school students throughout Horry County who demonstrate leadership qualities and good character.

Youth Leadership participants serve on the Grants Committee and select the recipients) of grants from the fund.  Total grants to be distributed will be $10,000.00. 

We are pleased to announce that the Funding Focus for 2010 year will be:

"Promoting Familial Values Through Interactive Programs"
