The Clyde W. Port Catalyst Award is the latest philanthropic initiative of The Waccamaw Community Foundation. The WCF Board of Directors is excited to announce the creation of this award in honor and memory of Mr. Clyde W. Port, a founder and former Director Emeritus of the organization.

Ruell L. Hicks, Jr. has been elected as the newest Board member of the Waccamaw Community Foundation. Senior Vice President for Wachovia Securities, Mr. Hicks has nearly two decades of experience in banking and finance.
July 19, 2007 – Murrells Inlet, SC – An Advisory Committee appointed to oversee the Waccamaw Community Trust (WCT) recently announced an inaugural round of grants totaling $50,600.
