Jonathan P. Kresken

Jonathan joined the Waccamaw Community Foundation in October 2003 coming from a career in the legal profession. He had been an attorney in the U.S. Army, Judge Advocate General Corps. from 1990 to 1994. Mr. Kresken was in private practice in Horry County until joining the Foundation. Jonathan is married to Catherine and has 2 children. He is a member of the Coastal Carolina Sertoma Club and Risen Christ Lutheran Church.

Donna Lewis

Donna joined the Waccamaw Community Foundation in January 2004. She has an Associates Degree in Accounting, extensive experience in customer service, office administration, accounting and bookkeeping.

Nancy Jarrett, CPA

Nancy serves the Foundation on a part-time basis in the preparation of financial statements, as well as in the implementation and integration of financial and administrative management software.

Director of Programs

Sam Cook joined the Foundation in September 2011.  Mr. Cook has a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry Management.  Mr. Cook has 25+ years in corporate experience including International Paper and Duke Power and extensive experience with the non-profit community.

During the week of November 12-18, 2011, the Waccamaw Community Foundation will join more than 700 community foundations across America for Community Foundation Week.

Conway Chamber Honors Citizens

Through an endowment created by Peter and Betsy Barr in memory of Frank Thompson, the Derricks will be given the opportunity to present a not-for-profit charity of choice with a $1,000 donation and the distinction of the Frank A. Thompson II Citizenship Award.
