Legacies for Changing Lives

Scholarships

The Waccamaw Community Foundation is committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.  In addition to our own WCF Educational Fund, donors can also establish scholarships to benefit students who meet specific sets of criteria.

Current WCF Scholarship Funds with required criteria are listed in the drop down under Scholarships.

If you are interested in setting up a Scholarship Fund as a legacy for your family or in tribute to a loved one please contact Jonathan P. Kresken, President, at jkresken-wcf@sc.rr.com or by calling 843-357-GIVE (4483).

Listed below is a Draft Scholarship Fund Agreement for your review.  Scholarship Funds are required to be endowed funds, with a $25,000 minimum.  Based on our current 5% spending policy, this could provide a $1,250 scholarship to a deserving student annually, in perpetuity.
