Georgetown and Horry County nonprofits, apply by October 7th to be considered for funding
MURRELLS INLET, S.C.: August 23, 2016 – Waccamaw Community Foundation, a grantmaking institution serving Horry and Georgetown Counties, has opened applications for its 4th quarter competitive grant cycle.
Grants are available from the Carver Educational Fund and Waccamaw Community Trust Fund. Grants from the Carver Educational Fund range from $500 to $5,000 to “programs and projects that further the cause of education.” The Waccamaw Community Trust Fund awards grants in the amount of $500 to $2,500 to a variety of local nonprofits for projects related to their missions.
All applications are due by 5 p.m. on October 7th to shawna@mywcf.org. Grantees will be announced by the end of the 4th quarter, December 31st. Please contact Shawna Mosley-Foster with any questions about the grant applications.
